WeeK 10 All is well that ends well

Hello you all,
It has been a great pleasure working, blogging, reading ,replying to your reflections....
To tell the truth, everything I learned here was  TERRIFIC. I can just list a few: Saving bookmarks with Delicious, wrting skills and technology-enhanced lesson plans, rubrics, creating student-centered classes, learner autonomy and mobile devices, teachers resources online were topics I had never thought of seeing in this class. These topics will incredibly make the difference in my professional life. Starting from the next school year, my classes will be technology-based,student-centered,interactive now. Last week I bought a  brand new smartphone that I will be using in class for teaching/learning purposes.
Very excited teacher.

Week 9 Close to the end

Hello,
This week stands as a reminder to all teachers that we should always bear in mind that our students have different learning abilities. To teach is not simply transmiting information,it is about getting learners to understand the information and use it to sort out  real life situations.WE can only reach this goal if we Know who are our learners: Visual/verbal learners or reflective/active learners?
I have also submitted my final plan report this week.It has been a a long process product. I think all that we have learned in this course has really helped me to be at this point with tremendous resources to be used in class.

Week 8 A Resource provider

Hello dear colleagues,
What a great week.! Now we can create original exercises online for offline use.Among the greatest exercices providers I highly appreciate ONE: The word search creator; the following word site: www. lakeshorelearning.com . Being able to create my own word search exercises is a great competence for a teacher like me.

Week 6 Beginning to implement the technology

Hello dear colleagues,
Here we stand, half finished ,half remaining. Up to now we have learned a lot  in terms of resources, techniques and ways to cope with technology oriented students who feel bored in  teacher- focused classes. One of my greatest discoveries in this online course is blogging.I really love the idea of blogging or writing about my inner feelings about specific topics.I think that creating  class activities that revolve around blogging could boost my students interest and motivation.
Right now I am reflecting on how to use a class blog to break new ground in my school.
All my best regards.

Week 5: Project Based Learning, Webquests and Rubrics

Dear colleagues,
This week activities get me to say to myself stop. Stop grading your students on very subjective criteria or on non existing criteria. Our students are demotivated because the lessons are always about grammar and reading very difficult texts which are often chosen regardless of students interest. Now I do believe  that  by designing our own rubrics through ' rubistar' and  by conducting project based activities with the internet as a tool in our classes, real learning will happen, motivation will show up, collaboration will exist, constructive communication will strenghten learners personalities.

Week 4 Enriching week

Hello,
Welcome on my blog. This week has been very challenging for me. I have been running for my own business and trying to cope with this week assignments. The farther we go on this road to acquiring new web skills to integrate in our daily practices, the more insights we  really get. This technology age really offers possibilities to  innovating and boosting teaching and learning English in schools. The internet brings interactive activities to our classes in order to motivate technology oriented learners. To make it happen, we should rely on students'interest.
